Every staff member I have encountered has been warm, caring and extremely professional. This group has always gone above and beyond when treating my son!

She said no, then I said, could you fax or phone for the information: she said "we don"t do that", and continued jabbering about UHS flaws in communication, which was TMI, for me because what she did was to confirm a lack of UHS staff's ability to BRIDGE and to communicate within its own systems, and the staff reluctance to use available means to grow your practice.

I would like to say that I am African American, and based upon the information given by UHS staff, I am left with a few impressions.

I have been on this earth for a minute, and have practice with them who dont want to serve us.

A. you are turning away potentional customers.

The receptionists are always rude, no matter what. It doesn't matter which one you talk to. They could use some people skills. But the doctors there are very nice, Dr. Wilson is a great. The doctors and nurses are very caring.

So here, a culture that dont want to serve me based upon my urban diction, or out of date procedures, that allows your staff to do a days work or "hanging up the phone with one hand while eating donuts with another", before punching out for the day.

My first call, ended with the receptionist hanging up on me.

This office was a joke. Dr. Kim is supposed to have a wonderful reputation and he did absolutely nothing for me and my situation... I used to love Lourdes. Recently i have been extremely unhappy both with this office as well as the ER and my primary care office. You're treated like a number... They aren't. Caring at all. I always feel rushed out... The staff doesnt listen to much of anything I say. Im just totally disgusted.

thank you for the reviews, as I decided to have my own experience with making an appointment. This is the third time this year I have engaged UHS systems. Twice in Walton NY, and now on hold for the second time with the Harrison location, its 9:22 am.

I was told that a referral was needed to get an appointment. I explained that this was a Motor vehicle accident and that my emergency room visit was at UHS walton, and asked whether UHS Bing had access to medical data, that I could sign a medical authorization.

And UHS culture is glaring, red flags, and fireworks.

The receptionist staff is not a friendly or efficient one. They act like you are just a number and they just want their paycheck. Other than that the doctors are great. I would not recommend going here.
